HVAC Service Technician

Our HVAC Technicians are one of the pillars of the entire company. We are looking for a well-rounded and experienced HVAC Technician to add to our team. All you need is a good attitude, strong work ethic, and great communication skills. ​ Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, as well as diagnostics and troubleshooting when needed. To be successful, you will need to have a minimum of two years’ experience as an HVAC technician and a strong knowledge of the systems and components. You'll also need excellent communication skills and passion for staying up to date with industry trends and technologies. ​ What we offer: - 100% company paid Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance - 401k with 3% company match. - Disability Insurance - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Year-Round Job Security - Continued Education and Training Opportunities - Fully equipped company vehicle and gas card - Starting Pay $28-$40 - Performance pay bonuses ​ Primary Job Functions: - Provide maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and upgrade on residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards, providing customers with high-quality experience - Troubleshoot and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. - Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent equipment failure by cleaning air handling systems and reheat coils, monitoring and calibrating air handling systems and replacing filters, motors, fans, belts, etc. on systems. - Locate and diagnose problems, assess the extent of repairs, and describe options and associated costs to the customer. Provides a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood with options, as possible. - Assists with repairs of complete systems to include repairing, calibrating, or replacing controls, switches, thermostats, transformers, gauges, wiring fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, piping, and other functional components of the system. - Completes all required documentation on services, explains guarantees/warranties and records. - Installs, repairs, replaces, or cleans refrigerant lines, fans, appliance vents, smoke detectors, humidifiers and grills, as appropriate. ​ Certificates: - Type II EPA Certification (we can help you get this) - NATE: North American Trade Excellence (we can help with this too) - Iowa HVAC License (yup, we'll help you with that too)

Lead HVAC Installer

Are you an experienced HVAC Installer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Not really getting the hours you deserve or want? Do you want to work for a family oriented small business that has growth opportunities? We have good news for you! ​ We’re looking for a talented and well-rounded HVAC Installer to join our growing company. To be successful, it’s best to have a few years’ experience under your belt. If not, we cover all training and educational expenses to get you up to speed in the industry. ​ What we offer: - 100% company paid Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance - 401k with 4% company match. - Disability Insurance - Paid Time Off - Paid Holidays - Year-Round Job Security - Continued Education and Training Opportunities - Starting Pay $28-$40 an hour - Performance pay bonuses ​ The Ideal Candidate: - Have a passion for pursuing a career in the HVAC industry. - The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively. - Strong mechanical aptitude - Journeyman License (preferred) ​ Responsibilities: - Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications. - Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field. - Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the customer may have during installation. - Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, and venting); - Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements. - Responsible for a company work vehicle, parts inventory, and equipment assigned to company work vehicle. - Performs all work to industry standards and always maintains a professional manner and appearance. - Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and practices safe work habits. - Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with associates. - Presents ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
